Linda Shore-Lesserson, MD, FAHA, FASE, receives 2021 CVSA Surgery & Anesthesiology Mentoring Award

Linda Shore-Lesserson, MD, FAHA, FASE, received the 2021 CVSA Surgery & Anesthesiology Mentoring Award from the American Heart Association’s Council on Cardiovascular Surgery and Anesthesia (CVSA). This annual award recognizes a senior scientist who has a record of providing exceptional support for scientists in cardiothoracic and vascular surgery, anesthesiology, and other related fields, individually and globally through mentoring and advocacy.

Dr. Shore-Lesserson is an anesthesiologist with NAPA in Manhasset, NY. She is also Vice Chair of Academic Affairs for the Department of Anesthesiology at the Zucker School of Medicine at Hofstra/Northwell. Her clinical practice and teaching are affiliated with the residency program at North Shore University Hospital and Long Island Jewish Medical Center. Dr. Shore-Lesserson earned her medical degree from the Perelman School of Medicine at the University of Pennsylvania and has more than 20 years of experience in her field.
