North American Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) transformed its patient financial engagement strategy through partnering with Cedar’s digital-first, AI-powered platform designed to create a more transparent, personalized, and convenient billing experience for patients. The initiative shifted NAPA from a traditional, reactive collections model to a proactive, data-driven approach that uses behavioral insights and intelligent automation to better meet patient needs and preferences.

By integrating the platform directly into its revenue cycle operations, NAPA empowers patients with self-service tools to pay bills, update insurance information, access payment plans, and receive tailored communication through their preferred channels. The transformation also provided operational insights that helped improve efficiency and enhance patient support. As a result, NAPA achieved a 25% increase in cash collections, with 87% of patient payments completed through self-service channels, while also earning a 92% patient satisfaction score for the overall financial experience.
