Christina Midcap, MHA

VP, Managed Care Contracting 

Christina Midcap, MHA, is the Vice President of Managed Care Contracting at NAPA, where she leads the organization’s managed care strategy and operations across a national footprint. She oversees over 550 managed care agreements, including episode of care models, value-based compensation partnerships, and direct-to-employer arrangements.

With over 25 years of healthcare leadership experience, Christina has worked with more than 50 physician practices nationwide. Her consulting work focused on physician group mergers and acquisitions, anesthesia and pain management practice optimization, and the development of integrated delivery systems such as IPAs, ACOs, PHOs, CINs, and MSOs.

At NAPA, Christina directed the managed care due diligence and contract integration for 38 anesthesia practice acquisitions, shaping one of the most comprehensive managed care networks in the field. She is an early leader in the design of capitation and episode-based payment models and has played a key role in advancing performance-based compensation structures for anesthesiology practices.

Christina has held advisory and advocacy roles with multiple state anesthesiology societies and national organizations, including the American Society of Anesthesiologists. Her influence has extended to health policy, where she participated in key coalitions that successfully protected provider rights and influenced state legislation.

She earned her Master’s in Health Administration from the Medical College of Virginia/VCU and is recognized for her strategic insight, operational leadership, and collaborative approach to driving results across diverse healthcare environments.
