
Juan Vallarino
Juan Vallarino has been a board director of North America Partners in Anesthesia (NAPA) since the fall of 2017. He has over 40+ years of experience in the health care industry. He has held key management roles in various sectors of the industry—physician practice management, institutional providers, and health insurance companies—in addition to running his own consulting practice.
Juan is currently CEO of myLaurel, which provides acute in-home care for high-complexity patients. Previously he served as the Chief Executive Officer and board director of myNexus, a leader in post-acute care management. Under his leadership, myNexus more than doubled in size, managing the care of over 2 million members in 24 states. Prior to being named CEO in 2019, he served as the company’s vice-chairman.
Juan also serves as board director for Brave Health, a telehealth provider serving Medicaid and other medically underserved populations; and Grameen Foundation, a globally renowned organization focused on empowering the poor, especially women, to create a world without poverty and hunger.
Through his consulting company, he serves as a strategic advisor to several companies around payor and regulatory strategies.
Juan spent 21 years at HCA Healthcare. Most recently he served as Senior Vice President of Employer and Payer Engagement with responsibility for over $30 billion in net revenues.
A Rutgers University graduate, Juan and his wife of 35-plus years, Elizabeth, reside in the Pacific Northwest.
