Sheldon B. Newman, MD, serves as the Regional Senior Vice President for Clinical Services for NAPA’s South & West Region. Dr. Newman joined NAPA in 2001 and has served in various roles since then. Most recently, RVP for Clinical Services for the New England Region, and previously as Area Vice President for the Northwell Region, where he also served as the Peter F. Walker, MD, Chair of Anesthesiology at the Zucker School of Medicine.

Dr. Newman practiced cardiac anesthesia for more than 20 years, and his interests lie in patient safety, quality assurance, service excellence, and leadership development.
